action.ai was borne of a shared belief that human-centred automation would permeate nearly every aspect of life, changing the way we interact. Automation conjured images of soulless machines and functional communication, but this was far from our vision.

We set out to find a way to power automation that would be practical and helpful for customers, whilst offering experiences that would engage and delight. These experiences would have the feel and flow of the natural human-to-human conversations we engage in every day. Importantly, this automation would have to be easy to deploy and scale for businesses.
